Charlotte Buck is an experienced employment solicitor. She graduated from the University of Bristol with a BA in English in 2003, before completing her Graduate Diploma in Law at the College of Law (Bloomsbury) and her Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School (Holborn). She qualified in 2009 after training with a City law firm.
Charlotte went on to spend 12 years at a boutique West End practice, advising a diverse range of clients on employment and commercial disputes. Her practice covered start-ups, multinational corporations, high-net-worth individuals, and senior executives, with a notable focus on the financial sector.
Since joining Pinney Talfourd in 2024 as a Senior Associate, Charlotte has acted for both employers and employees across the full spectrum of employment law. She has particular expertise in drafting and negotiating employment contracts, advising on grievance and disciplinary procedures, unfair and constructive dismissal, redundancy, and discrimination matters. She is also highly experienced in negotiating exit packages and advising on Settlement Agreements.
Charlotte is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association (ELA) and is committed to staying at the forefront of developments in employment law. She is recognised for her pragmatic and empathetic approach, focusing on achieving effective resolutions while preserving working relationships and avoiding litigation wherever possible.

Outside of work, Charlotte enjoys spending time with her family including her two children. She also enjoys going to the gym and most sports including playing netball, horse-riding and skiing. Charlotte has dual nationality (English/German) and speaks fluent German.
