Alexandria Jacobs (Lexie) studied law at Suffolk and Chelmsford colleges to qualify with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, attaining Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (FCILEx) in 2007.
Lexie attained fellowship while working as a property lawyer both at Suffolk County Council and latterly Holmes & Hills LLP, a Legal 500 firm.
In 2006 Lexie opened her own conveyancing practice with her husband. It was a short-lived venture which did not survive the global financial crisis of 2008. Lexie then decided to take a break from law altogether and work in a different area / industry until her return to law in 2015.
Lexie joined Pinney Talfourd in 2015 as a member of the residential conveyancing team and was made a Senior Associate in 2022.
Lexie is also an active member of Pinney Talfourd’s Charity Committee, working on fundraising events throughout the year in support of the firm’s Charity of the Year.
Lexie acts for clients on a variety of residential property transactions.

"Throughout the process (both the first buyer and the second buyer!) you have kept us fully informed and provided us with excellent advice and feedback, it has been a pleasure to work with you. Lexie is a credit to the firm."
Mr C, Essex
"I just wanted to thank you and especially Lexie over the last couple of days for all the effort you both put in to get the sale finished. It all got so messy and could have easily fallen through, as I think you know I have a friend who runs an estate agency and has been in the game for the last 15 years or so, and even he was shocked at what happened, so thank you once again."
David Keirle, Colchester
"Lexie provided an excellent service for what was by no means a standard property conveyance."
Mr G Staines, Hornchurch
"Reliable, informative, great service and great agent who dealt with my case."
John Chamberlin, Basildon
"From the first phone call to the first meeting with my Solicitor Lexie Jacobs I received an impeccable service. I was always informed of what the next step would be and Lexie made sure that we were fully informed and updated about everything. I had confidence in Lexie throughout who I cannot recommend highly enough and will return to in the future. Thank you."
Ms Lewis, Islington
"Lexie provided me with good support for which I am truly grateful. I am a satisfied customer! I was very impressed with the care I have been given by the three solicitors who have been dealing with me. The premises are welcoming and can accommodate my disabilities."
Anon, Brentwood
"I just wanted to say how much I appreciate all your help on my recent sale of Mulberry Close. You were very helpful whenever I had questions and, of course, very patient!"
H Matthews, Romford
"It was a breath of fresh air dealing with Lexie Jacobs and Claire Cook on our recent conveyancing and then sweeping up the debris HMRC made for itself on the Stamp Duty payment fiasco."
Mr D Taskis, Hornchurch
"We have used Lexie before and she is our lawyer of choice. She is attentive - responds in an appropriate amount of time - flexible in availability and most importantly 'gets it'."
Mr J, Havering
Excellent from start to finish. Having worked closely with Lexie in the past as an estate agent and always had exceptionally positive feedback from vendors and buyers, I was confident that she would be a superb choice to use when selling my own home. The whole process was quick, efficient and Lexie was really easy to communicate with. I will continue to use and recommend Lexie. If you are looking for an experienced lawyer, who will go out of their way to get the job done and on the day of exchange and completion is always at the end of a phone, Lexie should be your first choice. From my experience and talking to many buyers and sellers, the decision on which lawyer to appoint at the start of the transaction is sometimes influenced by the fees quoted. What I can tell you from my experience, is Pinney Talfourd might not be the cheapest, but only at the end of the transaction you realise, you get what you pay for. Lexie is worth every penny and she proved this again on the day of my completion. When other firm’s solicitors involved in our transaction were not available on the phone, Lexie was and made sure things went through very quickly, her continuous communication was spot on.
