Kristian Croad studied his law degree at Bournemouth University, graduating in 2003 and completing his Legal Practice Course in 2004. As part of his degree, Kristian had a year long work placement in 2001 / 2002 at Dickinson Manser Solicitors, a firm in Poole, Dorset where Kristian first developed his passion for Private Client work.

Kristian subsequently joined Dickinson Manser Solicitors to complete his two-year long training contract, qualifying as a solicitor in 2006.

Kristian joined Pinney Talfourd in 2007 as part of the Private Client team.

Kristian is a Partner and has a reputation for being a Trust Expert both within and outside of the firm. He is regularly consulted by other professionals in relation to Trust and Estate work and other Private Client matters.

Kristian is a Trustee for HAD – the Havering Association for People with Disabilities.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE

On a personal note, Kristian is a Husband and a Father of two boys that keep him occupied in his spare time. Kristian enjoys watching a variety of sports including Football and Rugby and is an avid supporter of AFC Bournemouth. Kristian also enjoys running when he can find the time.

  • Advising clients on the most effective way to bring a Trust to an end that was no longer suitable for their needs.
  • Administering a Trust for the benefit of vulnerable beneficiaries.
  • Advising on the creation of and the administration of Personal Injury Trusts and possible alternatives.
  • Administering a Trust for the benefit of the Deceased's spouse keeping assets ringfenced for the Deceased’s ultimate preferred beneficiaries from a previous relationship.
  • Administration of a Personal Injury Trust worth in excess of £2.4 million.
  • Helping families unwind Asset Protection Trusts that were not suitable for their needs after they had received inappropriate advice from third party advisers.
  • Application to the Court of Protection to have an incapable Trustee removed and a new Trustee appointed in his place.
  • Advising in the winding up of a Life Interest Trust where the Will prepared by a third party firm did not reflect the Deceased’s true wishes and liaising with all beneficiaries to rectify the outcome.
  • Advising in the creation of a Disabled Beneficiary Trust by parents for their child who would not be capable of managing the money for himself.
