Anica Holderness studied Law & Psychology at Sheffield Hallam University, graduating her degree with a 2:1 Honours in 2008. She completed her Legal Practice Course at The College of Law, passing with a commendation, in 2009.
Anica completed her training contract at Paul Robinson Solicitors, a local Legal 500 firm, qualifying as a residential property solicitor in 2011. Anica joined the residential property team at Pinney Talfourd in 2013.
She was promoted to Partner in 2024.
Anica specialises in high value and complex matters, including matters arising from settled disputes, granting easements and adverse possession applications.
Anica assists with the management of the residential property team, including providing support and training to other members of the team.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE
In her spare time Anica likes to spend time outdoors, including music festivals and events all over the world. She enjoys spending time with friends and family. Anica has been a Guide leader and involved with the Guiding movement since she was five.
Anica is a committee member of our People of Pinney’s Society who, amongst other things, organise our social events. Anica has been a member of our very own Pinney Talfourd choir who complimented the professional choir at our last two Christmas carol concerts. Anica has chaired our staff quiz for the last two years, which raises money for our charity of the year.
