Christmas certainly came early for many people this weekend, with the annual children’s festive party taking place at the Upminster office of Pinney Talfourd.
This weekend’s snowfall gave a perfectly Christmassy backdrop to our annual children’s Christmas party. Even with the snowflakes falling aplenty, Santa and his elves managed to arrive promptly at 11am and were greeted by many excited children and their parents. Santa quickly took up residence in his grotto, built especially for him on the eve before by the administration team.
Whilst the children waited eagerly to meet the big man, the elves amused them all with Christmassy games, singing and dancing. Some of the parents even got into the Christmas spirit and joined in on the festivities!
A party lunch was enjoyed by all, including Santa, before he jumped back in his sleigh, elves in tow, and flew back to the North Pole just after 1pm. Whilst the wintery flurries, unfortunately, kept some families away, it was still a great success and a wonderful time was had by all.
For those children unable to attend, Santa left presents under Pinney Talfourd’s tree, ready to be picked up and opened on Christmas Day!
