Louise worked as a court assistant at Braintree Magistrate’s court before studying for her law degree at the University of Teesside. After graduating in 1993, Louise joined Alistair Keeble and Passmore in Colchester whilst studying part time for her legal practice course.
Having completed the legal practice course and her training contract Louise qualified as a solicitor in 1997.
In 1998 Louise joined Blocks Solicitors in Ipswich and was a partner there.
After relocating to live in North Suffolk, Louise left Blocks in 2005 to work in Norwich; she was responsible for a Community Legal Advice helpline contract before moving to Essex in 2013. Louise was recruited by Attwaters Jameson Hill to build up the presence of their family department in Loughton, something which she did with great success before leaving in 2019.
Louise joined Pinney Talfourd in October 2019 as a senior associate and was made Partner in 2023. She is the lead lawyer in the firm’s surrogacy/infertility/modern family offering.
Louise is a mentor to junior members of staff from other departments and is also involved in supervising junior members of her team.
In addition to these roles Louise is responsible for firm wide compliance with law society practice management standards.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE
In her spare time Louise enjoys walks in the countryside and sampling local restaurants. She is also a formula 1 fan. Having attended the Canadian Grand Prix in 2018 she hopes to travel to some more races in the future. Louise often travels to sunnier climates where she can relax and read a good book.
Louise also enjoys cooking and spending time in her local community pub.
