Joanne Tappin studied her law degree at the Anglia Ruskin University, graduating in 2008, before completing her Legal Practice Course in 2009.
Joanne joined a local Essex practice to complete her two-year training contract, qualifying as a solicitor in 2012. Joanne practiced as an accredited Police Station Accredited Representative and accredited Mental Health Panel Solicitor until 2017. In 2014 Joanne was appointed an Associate Hospital Manager in addition to Mental Health Law (Mental Health Act 1983 and Mental Capacity Act 2005) trainer for the St Matthews Healthcare, in Northampton.
Adapting her skill set, Joanne transferred into Property law in 2017. Working both locally and in the city, Joanne has practised in both Residential and Commercial property. In March 2022, Joanne joined Pinney Talfourd.
