Emma graduated with a law degree from the University of Portsmouth in 2013. Emma also pursued the CILEX Level 6 Practice Course alongside her academic studies, receiving a High Achievement Award for her outstanding performance.
Emma worked as a paralegal to complete her work-based learning, qualifying as a Chartered Legal Executive and Fellow of CILEX in February 2019.
Emma has worked in respected private client departments across the region, including five years at a Tier 1 Legal 500 firm, where she developed her skills advising on a broad spectrum of private client matters.
Emma is a Chartered Legal Executive in our Private Client team, where she works closely with individuals and families requiring legal solutions focused on later-life planning, wealth protection, and estate administration.
Her pragmatic approach and attention to detail are matched by her commitment to providing a personable, client-focused service.

Noteable achievements
- Advising and calculating the tax position on gifting, including gifts of over £1 million.
- Advising on probate for a multi-million-pound estate, where the assets were largely land and property, leading to the requirement of an inheritance tax loan to cover payment of the tax due before the grant could be obtained.
- Obtaining probate on three consecutive estates where multiple generations had died within six months of each other.
