William studied his law degree at the University of Otago, New Zealand, graduating in 2021, before joining Patterson Hopkins, a boutique private client firm, in Auckland, New Zealand. William was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand on 31 June 2022 and worked as a solicitor at Patterson Hopkins until June 2024. William appeared on multiple occasions in both the High and District Courts of New Zealand in estate litigation proceedings.
William joined Pinney Talfourd in March 2025 as a contentious probate lawyer after spending time travelling through Europe and Asia before eventually settling in London.
