Sophie Brett studied Middle Eastern Studies with Theology at the University of Exeter, graduating in 2024 with First Class Honours.
Following graduation, Sophie joined Foskett Marr Gadsby & Head LLP, where she supported the Private Client team as an assistant. During her time there, she drafted Wills and Powers of Attorney and assisted with estate administration. Sophie supported senior fee earners and regularly met with clients.
In June 2025, Sophie joined Pinney Talfourd LLP to support the Court of Protection team as a paralegal.
In her current role, Sophie assists vulnerable individuals who have lost mental capacity by helping to manage their finances and day-to-day affairs. She also drafts deputyship applications and corresponds regularly with the Office of the Public Guardian (OPG).
On a personal note, Sophie enjoys walking, swimming, and spending time with her family and friends.
