Alex Hunt studied his law degree (LLB) at Keele University, graduating in 2016, before completing his legal practice course (LPC) and Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of Law (Bloomsbury) in 2017.

Whilst studying, Alex was part of a multidisciplinary legal outreach programme with the aim of promoting access to justice for vulnerable clients and so has been representing and assisting clients in family matters since 2014.

Alex subsequently joined a busy North London firm to complete his two-year training contract, qualifying as a solicitor in 2020. There he remained for a further two years before subsequently moving into the city and working at two boutique leading Legal 500 family firms in Bloomsbury and Mayfair working exclusively on complex HNW and UHNW matters.

Alex joined Pinney Talfourd in January 2026 as an Associate in the family department.

Alex always strives to offer direct, transparent, and straightforward legal advice, particularly in complex or sensitive matters which require a kind and empathetic hand. He is passionate about delivering measurable outcomes for clients in the most amicable manner and with the shortest possible timeline.

Alex is described as having “wide experience in international family law cases” and being “very reassuring to clients” (Legal 500 – 2023).
