Pinney Talfourd hosts a celebration lunch for the Coronation of King Charles III

On the 3rd May 2023, Pinney Talfourd hosted a special client lunch to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III.

Our Upminster reception was transformed into a banquet hall where our private client guests enjoyed an afternoon tea consisting of sandwiches, scones, and a delicious selection of cakes and tarts. Solicitors from our Private Client team were on hand to serve drinks to guests, ensuring that a good time was had by all.

On the day we were joined by our special guest speaker, Major James Marshall, President of the Romford Drum & Trumpet Corps (RDTC). James spoke of his desire from a young age to play music and how the RDTC gave him the foundation to go on to have a successful career in the army, taking part in many prestigious events such as Trooping the Colour.

The Romford Drum & Trumpet Corps is a youth military style band, based in the London Borough of Havering. As one of the oldest independent youth marching bands in the country, it has a proud history, with performances throughout the UK. In recent years, the band has performed across Europe and even the USA.

The afternoon was a marvelous way to begin festivities in the build-up to the weekend’s coronation and presented a great opportunity for Pinney Talfourd to say thank you to some of our long-standing clients.
