January is the month of divorce

The first week of January is traditionally known as “divorce day” when enquiries on family law supposedly peak. Our lawyers are here to make your life easier.

We also know that during January online searches for information about divorce and family law information skyrocket as relationships feel the strain of the festive season.

As a firm, we know that couples who have decided to split often assume that they have to go to court to arrange their separation. This is not always the case and separating couples with children want to find ways to reduce the stress on their children.

There are alternatives to court, including mediation, collaborative practice and arbitration. Parents can also access a free parenting plan, which helps them to work out arrangements for their children after divorce. This can be found here.

If you require advice regarding your relationship or relating to children, please feel free to contact us at one of our three offices and we will be happy to book you in for a free half an hour consultation where we can address those issues.
