Havering Over 50’s Garden Party

Pinney Talfourd are invited along to pick best costume at the Havering Over 50’s Forum wartime themed Summer Garden Party.
August saw the annual Havering Over 50’s Forum Summer Garden Party. The wartime themed party at H.A.D. Wingletyle Lane, Hornchurch was well attended by the Committee and its members as well as the Mayor and Mayoress of Havering.

Sarah Cannon and Emma Thorpe of the Pinney Talfourd’s Private Client Department were invited along and had the difficult decision of judging best costume!

A delicious spread was laid out including an impressive selection of homemade cakes and wartime tunes filled the air. There was entertainment throughout the afternoon, with a raffle and a quiz, all of which was rounded off with a sing-a-long led by the Mayoress of Havering, Bunny Eagling.

The Havering Over 50’s Forum is a non political organisation that offers a platform where the over 50’s can find information and raise issues which are of a concern to them. Each month the forum has a selection of speakers and feedback from the executive committee. The forum is open to Havering residents aged 50 and over. Pinney Talfourd have been keen sponsors of the Forum for a number of years now and are always grateful for the support the forum offer in return – most recently at our Great Charity Balloon Race..
