Partner Stephen Green completes Charity ride for Kids Inspire

On Sunday 3^rd September 2023, Partner Stephen Green completed a 23 mile bike ride around the beautiful Essex countryside to support Pinney Talfourd’s 2022/2023 charity of the year – Kids Inspire. The ride began and finished at Kids Inspires headquarters in Great Baddow, Chelmsford.

Kids Inspire provide mental health and trauma recovery support for children, young people and their families. Through therapeutic and community activities we promote resilience, self-awareness, and relationship-building to empower more positive life choices.

Stephen Green comments:

“A very big thank you to everyone who gave so generously to support the Kids Inspire charity ride yesterday. I completed the longer course in under 2 hours, raising £355 plus gift aid. The event was well supported, and the weather was perfect.”

Cycling for charity is a great way to get fit, raise money for a good cause, and meet new people. If you are looking for a challenge, I encourage you to consider participating in the Kids Inspire charity cycle ride.

“Just to say a big thank you for taking part in our Kids Inspire Cycle Challenge, we hope you had an enjoyable day with us. 51 cyclists joined us and together you have raised over £19,000 so far – this is a brilliant achievement, and we know that some of you still have more funds to add to your fundraising pages, so a huge thank you”.

Charity of the Year

Each year Pinney Talfourd nominates a charity of the year to help raise vital funds for those in need. In May 2023 we nominated our new charity partner – Parkinsons UK however still remain committed to supporting previous and other charities during the course of the year where possible. Supporting the local community is extremely important to our organisation across the areas we operate – Upminster, Hornchurch, Brentwood, Chelmsford and London.
